Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

What plan does God have for YOUR life?!?
|
|
The word of God gives us guidance and help for our life. Who, but our creator himself, can know exactly what is good and what is bad for us?
But God also offers us personal and concrete help for our special life situation. Many participants in our Bible Study Group have already experienced this personally. Some of us also have gone through difficult life situations such as for example bad marriages or divorces or had to cope with the death of their own child, but Jesus Christ could be experienced in all the hardship.
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Matthew 28,18
|
We have personally experienced that Jesus Christ has power over everything (Matthew 28,18: ALL authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me).
The author of these lines has personall experienced that Jesus Christ has power over everything and how massive injustice has changed absolutely over the years (also in court) into justice, exactly at the moment when the situation was accepted and completely given into the hands of God. The situation had then been turned into its opposite. Even during studies, during unemployment, etc., God's concrete help became visible.
But what is the condition so that God helps you personally and Jesus Christ can be experienced?
God's word provides information about this. That is why we meet regularly in the Bible study group to research this.
In addition, God also committed people to give other people biblically based help in life. Discussions and praying together are also important.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of offers such as "life coaching", whereby so-called "healers" often only cause "mischief".
Here, too, the Bible is a touchstone: Does the “pastoral care” conform to the biblical standards? Or is it going in the direction of “sorcery”, “fortune telling” etc., which God clearly rejects? Unfortunately, there are such "help" partly under a Christian sign, which is why our Bible Study Group always pays attention to looking at the WHOLE Bible on topics which come up.
